Premium Workspaces Delivered Through Complex Urban, Retail Logistics
Delivered in partnership with The GPT Group and Newbridge, The GPT Highpoint Workspaces involved three premium workplaces within Melbourne’s vibrant Highpoint retail precinct. Spanning 1,415 sqm, each office space features a consistent aesthetic grounded in a neutral palette, emphasising texture and form, with layouts designed to maximise natural light and create an intimate front-of-house experience.
Delivering offices above a busy shopping centre posed significant logistical challenges – from coordinating deliveries to navigating tenant activity and managing ceiling construction. Vemi implemented a meticulous site logistics plan to ensure seamless execution with minimal disruption.
Handed over in late 2025, two workplaces have already been leased, demonstrating a strong market appetite for the spaces. It’s a project that demonstrates how, even within a complex urban environment, intelligent site logistics and delivery planning can ensure design is never compromised.
The existing space contained 5-metre ceilings requiring careful construction planning, precise trade coordination, and skilled installation using scissor lifts to deliver standardised, functional fitout ceiling heights across all three suites.
Strategic design and planning maximised natural light and circulation throughout the floor, enhancing occupant comfort and productivity while ensuring the shared corridor seamlessly connects the three office spaces in a cohesive, practical layout.
